Length: 159.8 mi
For decades this circular route has been one of the most popular cycling destinations in Europe. Thanks to the southern location and the large area of the lake - with 270 km of shorelines, Lake Constance is the third largest in Europe - this cycle path from Easter is at the end of October, sometimes even in November, a great travel and excursion destination for enthusiastic cyclists. If you circle the entire lake, you have traveled through three countries, the largest part of which is in Germany. Here, the official Bodensee Radweg logo accompanies you all the time. Since the route leads along the shore most of the time, the route is easy to find anyway.Show more

easyYellow StarYellow StarYellow StarYellow StarYellow StarYellow StarYellow StarGray StarGray StarGray Star(12)
Length: 7.1 mi • Est. 4 h 4 m
Although you will only have to conquer 500 meters in altitude, this route will surprise you with wonderful views. Its no without reason that the Aueralm is one of the most famous on the Tegernsee. From early till late the terraces are open here and a lot of visitors enjoy the view of the Hirschberg, Ross- and Buchenstein, as well as the Wallberg and many more. Even though it is snowing here in winter, the path is still hackable throughout the year thanks to its low altitudes. In summer, it is even possible to bring a stroller but be expect a few steeper passages. Both the ascent and the descent are very well signposted throughout the entire trail. First you follow the idyllic path along the Söllbach and a bit later from the creek on the right uphill. After about an hour you reach a beautiful viewpoint with a great view of the Hirschberg. Continue uphill and soon you come to a crossroads, which you follow to the left. Now it is not far to the end of the forest and soon we reach the clearing and can see the roof of the Aueralm, that is only a stone's throw away.Show more

This loop is very popular and can get crowded on the weekends with many skaters, cyclists, runners and walkers. In the morning you will find fewer people. This is an extremely beautiful route, which runs almost directly on the water. During the spring / summer months, numerous wild geese move their cubs along the lakeshore.Show more
