From the starting point at the village square in Grafenkirchen, head south on Jakobstraße. Cross the street, turn right in front of the fire station and then keep left. Following the asphalt road, it then goes slightly uphill towards Zimmerholz. On the right hand side you reach a comfortable forest path and walk on this until you come to a forest road. It continues to the right. Soon there will be the opportunity to visit the Bear Cave, a natural monument, on the left side via a branch path. After a few meters further on the forest road, you will reach a natural forest path on the left, which points to the viewpoint near the bear cave. Following the markings, after a few meters you come to this place with an underground hut. When the visibility is good, the view extends over the Regental and even as far as the Arber. Back on the forest road, the hiking board directs hikers to a forest path that is easy to walk on. You can return to the starting point in Grafenkirchen via the route on the asphalt road that you have already walked previously (refreshment stops; opening times Tues, Fri, Sun).
