Loop
Popular loop trail in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria.
From the starting point in Willmering it goes over the railway track towards the town hall. After the administration building, the hiking trail turns left into Schulstrasse. In the forest, the marking guides you into the forest. Then you cross a meadow path for 50 meters. Immediately afterwards one arrives on paths through a wooded area. Shortly before the road, the man-high embankment has to be negotiated. The road is crossed and the path dips to the left again into the forest. Together with the Pandurensteig, the Ww7 hiking trail now runs together for some time. Passing a bench, a hiking trail sign and a property you come to another hiking trail sign, where the Pandurensteig branches off to the left, but the hiking trail Ww7 continues straight ahead on the path. Following the marking you reach a babbling brook with a small water wheel. A bench next to it invites you to relax. After the water reservoir, turn left on the forest road. It doesn't take long before the Ch2 hiking trail is added. Together with this hiking trail, we continue through the forest towards Schlammering. After the forest, a diverse meadow landscape opens up to the hiker, which is criss-crossed by streams, ponds and hedges. You can get to the village along the stream. In the center of Schlammering you will find a beautiful chapel and a number of death boards. The hiking trail then turns right into the Bürgermeister-Bucher-Weg. It goes uphill, past the overview board, benches and field crosses, into the forest. You can get to the parking lot with an overview board on forest and forest paths. On the way there you can always discover natural play equipment and other interesting things from the forest kindergarten in the forest. Back in the forest, the trail now becomes more of a path. At the end of the path there are a number of death boards that remind of the deceased members of the castle rifle club. After 800 meters on the forest road, you will come to the well-known hiking trail sign at the edge of the Buchberg forest. From here, the way back on the hiking trail to Willmering is identical to the way there.
