From the starting point in Willmering, head west out of the village. After the sewage treatment plant, the hiking trail turns right onto a meadow path. Continue on a gravel path, which you leave after 230 m to the left. After a short stretch on a dirt road you reach an asphalt road lined with birch trees. On the way towards Rhanwalting, there are always benches that invite you to linger. In Rhanwalting you pass the village pond, a chapel and a playground. Follow the markings of the hiking trail. At the end of the village, you walk along fruit trees to a signpost that points the way to the right. After walking through a small piece of forest, Waffenbrunn is already in sight. It goes downhill into the village center with the castle and church. After 2 km you reach the starting point in Willmering via small paved paths through the "Hundshaut".
