Panoramic hiking trail in Schönthal, Bavaria. From the starting point at Rathausplatz, head south across the Schwarzach and then straight onto Uferstrasse. Via the Döferinger Weiher we head in the direction of Elmesbierl. Following the markings you will reach Döfering. Passing the church of St. Ägidius you reach the crossroads at the district road. Following the "Goldsteig" hiking trail, you reach Rhan via the Mühlbierl. Once there, you can refresh yourself in the Rhaner Bad. A forest area is reached via the village road running south, through the underpass. The markings point at the edge of the forest along the Stations of the Cross to the Rhan Forest Chapel. From there, the same way back to the village center is started. At the village adventure house and the playground, the path turns left. After the gravel path, the accompanying path of the federal road is controlled. Then you have to cross the Schwarzach. Then it goes along the Schwarzach to Schönthal. When you reach Alte Chamer Straße, turn left, past the church and monastery and back again. Starting point of the hike.
