Popular loop trail in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria. From the starting point in the center of Windischbergerdorf, turn into Laerchenfeldstraße. Stay on this path until you reach a piece of forest where a wayside shrine and a bench are waiting. From here you can enjoy the view of the Lamberg. You continue along the stations of the cross through the forest, past a water reservoir to a sign that shows the right direction. After about 1 km on the forest road you will come to another signpost. This points you to the right. Passing several ponds, colonies of bees and idyllic meadows, you arrive on the Gaenseangerweg trail at Schlemmering. The chapel and the boards of the dead in the center of the village are worth seeing. The hiking trail now leads a little uphill via the Bgm. Bucher-Weg. At the last property, you could take a break before continuing on the path. In front of the playground and the information boards, the path then branches off to the left onto a field path lined with bushes. This soon goes into the forest. Following the signage, you have to cross the county road, where the path continues on a dirt road. This soon narrows back to paths until the trail meets an asphalt road that runs alongside the spa clinic car park. Finally, via Klinikstrasse, you get back to the center of Windischbergerdorf, the starting point of this hiking trail. Highlights of the hike: - Windischbergerdorf - View of the Lamberg - Schlammering Chapel
