Popular hiking trail in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria.
From the starting point in Radling, branch off into the "Moosweg". The natural monument and biotope "Radlinger Moor" is on the right-hand side of the path. You continue over the Kuehberg, where you meet the Sd 2 hiking trail. You only stay on this one for a short time. Then you hike immediately to the right down the forest path towards Rothbachaue, where you meet the Sd2 again. Together with this one follows the marking to Hoetzing, where an old farm awaits. Here you have a stop in the beautiful beer garden with an old wooden bowling alley. Via the stations of the cross and past the forest chapel, you reach Penting. There, in the center of the village, there is a good middle-class Gasthaus Luger and a playground. Along the Pentinger Bach, turn left on the former district road CHA 1 to the sports field. You turn into the street "Zum Pfahlkreuz" and are guided to the Pfahl, an impressive 150 km long quartz rock. Past the Pfahl cross, picnic area at the pillar with adventure playground including pillar dragon and stone castle, you get to Pfahlhaeuser. Then you reach the Pfahl again. The wildly romantic Pfahlsee lake is still on the way before you take the asphalt road in the direction of Radling to the starting point.
