From the starting point in Thierling, the path leads in the direction of Neuthierling, past the Calvary to the south. Together with the Sd1 he comes to Rauchenberg. There he turns left on a well-developed gravel road in the direction of Thal. Shortly before Thal there is a wonderful view of the surroundings. Passing through the village, she reaches a junction on the grape mountain. Here it keeps to the left and after about 200 m immediately right again in the direction of Faschaberg to the state road 2146. Via Sandberg it goes together with the Sd2 over a field path with the Calvary, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of Schorndorf on benches.
