Promising circumnavigation of Schönau's local mountain, Bavaria. The demanding hike leads from the Hinterbrand car park (subject to a fee) around the Jenner. At first it goes steeply uphill via the managed Krautkaser- and Mitterkaseralm up to the mountain station of the Jennerbahn on well-developed hiking trails. There the highest point of the tour is reached and you can enjoy the magnificent view. The descent begins with many hairpin bends in the direction of the Königsbergalm. Shortly before the fork to the alp at the beginning of the alp area, turn right onto the Königsweg. From there, follow the Königsweg to the starting point past the managed Strubalm. Highlights: - Spectacular views of the Königssee - local flora and fauna - Refreshment in one of the alpine pastures
