This is a beautiful and relatively easy climb from the middle station of the Jennerbahn to the Carl von Stahl House. Sturdy shoes and a good basic level of fitness are recommended due to the partly uneven paths and the almost constant uphill climb in the first half of the hike.
The route passes the mountain station of the Krautkaserlift and the Mitterkaser-Alm and, after a slight ups and downs, finally reaches the popular Carl-von-Stahl-Haus on Torrener Joch (refreshments available). It's a good place to spend a little time to really enjoy the unforgettable panoramic views over the Berchtesgaden Alps while enjoying a hearty meal. It goes back the same way.
