Taunusbahntour

The tour covers the 19 km route to Grävenwiesbach and the 22 km return journey on the Taunusbahn railway. The cycle tour starts in the centre of Wehrheim at the town hall/tourist information office. You reach the cycle path to Obernhain via the railway station. After approx. 200 metres, cross the road in the direction of Anspach/Westerfeld. At Wiesenhof, do not turn left towards Neu-Anspach, but right towards Westerfeld. Before Neu Anspach, cross under Heisterbachstraße to reach Anspach railway station. The route now leads from the roundabout to Westerfeld. The Westerfeld/Usingen cycle path takes you to Usingen railway station. The route crosses the town in the direction of Hattsteinweiher. From here, the R6 leads past the pond to Wilhelmsdorf. Cross the village below the railway station until you cross the tracks again on the right in the direction of the cemetery. Now follow the "Black Arrow" hiking sign to the Hundstadt pumping station. At the next turn-off, the route goes downhill via the Lindenhof to Hundstadt. Here, turn left onto the road to Grävenwiesbach and pass the town hall. The path then leads past Hundstadt railway station on the right, under the Taunusbahn railway, in the direction of Grävenwiesbach "Schwarzer Pfeil". You finally reach Grävenwiesbach railway station on the connecting road. Here it is worth taking a break at the country inn "Zur Eisenbahn". For the return journey, take the Taunusbahn railway.
