Limesturmtour

The tour starts in the centre of Wehrheim (town hall/tourist information office), which can be reached from the train station via Bahnhofstraße. The route then continues along Usinger Straße and Kappengraben to Kreuzsteinweg. Pass the "Schöner Platz" cycling rest area and continue to Schlinkweg. At the end of the Bizzenbachtal valley, you reach the ammunition depot and turn left onto the Wehrheim railway, which leads to the Limesturm tower. The onward journey towards Friedrichsthal is signposted. You reach Friedrichsthal with a marvellous panoramic view. Follow the little-used country road to the Usaradweg cycle path. Follow this in the direction of Usingen and turn left uphill into the Röllbach valley after the Tannenhof. At the end of the forest path, turn right back towards Wehrheim. You return to the centre of Wehrheim via the Offen Valley and the Kappengraben.
