The tour starts in the centre of Wehrheim (town hall/tourist information office), which can be reached from the railway station via Bahnhofstraße. The Limes route leads past the Wehrheim swimming pool (Bizzenbachtal restaurant) uphill on a tarmac path to the military depot. At Gate 5, turn right onto the Limes adventure trail. Along the Limes you pass the sites of the Roman towers 3/4 and 2/4 (information boards). Large parts of this section of the trail offer a beautiful view towards the Feldberg ridge. The route leads through the Saalburg settlement past the railway station back to the centre of Wehrheim.
