Panoramatour/Schöner Platz

The cycle/walking route starts in the centre of Wehrheim (town hall/tourist information office), which can be reached from the railway station via Bahnhofstraße. The panoramic route leads from the centre of Wehrheim via the railway station in the direction of Schlink. After 6 kilometres, one of the most beautiful views of the Taunus ridge can be enjoyed at "Schönen Platz". At "Schönen Platz" (WP1) you will also find a box with copies of the Wehrheim cycle tour booklet. The turning point of the route is the sheep farm above the Bizzenbach valley. The tarmac path leads downhill past the wetland biotopes of the nature reserve towards the Wehrheim swimming pool (Bizzenbachtal restaurant). The route returns to the centre of Wehrheim on a road with little traffic.
