The tour starts in the centre of Wehrheim (town hall/tourist information office), which can be reached from the railway station via Bahnhofstraße. Oranienstraße leads out of Wehrheim past the REWE supermarket. In the fields, at the first crossroads, turn left towards Neu-Anspach. Continue past the Löhr riding centre in the direction of Obernhain. Cross Heisterbachstraße and the Taunusbahn railway and follow the road. The old Anspacher Straße offers a beautiful view of the glider airfield. Before Neu-Anspach, you reach a scrap dealer and cross the road here. The path leads uphill to the heights. Now turn right, passing between two water reservoirs, into the Anspach valley. At the car park, keep left towards Birkenhof. You will see the valley mill (restaurant) on the right. At the next junction, turn left again towards the glider airfield. At the road bridge there is a charming view of the airfield. Continue along the L3041 in the direction of Hessenpark. Cross the L3041 at Hirtenhof. The route continues along the airfield site (restaurant) to the Wehrheim bypass. You can cross this at the railway bridge and head towards Wehrheim/Bahnhof. Via Obernhainer Straße you now return to the centre of Wehrheim.
