Shortly after the start in Lohberg at an altitude of about 650 meters, the path leads past the war memorial in Sommerau, before it then goes steadily up the Zwerchecker Steig towards Scheibensattel. From Scheiben it goes over rooty paths up to the summit of the Zwercheck at 1,333 meters. The “Naturkino” is located in the immediate vicinity of the summit. In the box seats, an oversized “canvas” opens up to the hiker with a span across the entire mountain range opposite.
