MAX101: Kochel - Seefeld

37.1miLength
4,783ftElevation gain
Point to point
Easier variant of the 1st stage from Kochel to Seefeld without crossing the Altlacher Hochkopf between Walchensee and Wallgau. The ascent from Kochel to Lake Walchensee can be done on Kesselbergstraße (heavy traffic on weekends!), As can the shorter west bank side on the federal road (B11). From Walchensee, the route runs exclusively on flat side roads on the lake shore and on the ascent to Wallgau on a tarred bike path. Easier final ascent to Seefeld here over the Triendlsäge on the marked e-bike route.
