From the Bavarian foothills, the route first continues by way of Walchensee, Mittenwald, and Seefeld toward the Stubai Valley. It then crosses through Trins, Passo Sella, and the Wipptal to Sterzing/Vipiteno before reaching the Meran/Merano area by way of the Passeier Valley. Farther south, the route leads from Meran/Merano through Lana, forested sections, and Plätzerer Jöchl into the Non Valley. From Cagnò, Stage 6 can be ridden as either a western or eastern route. The western route leads through Mostizzolo, the Ciclovia della Val di Sole, Madonna di Campiglio, Cascate di Mezzo, Lago di Valadola, and Stenico to Villa Banale. The eastern route links Cagnò with Villa Banale by way of Cles, Lago di Andalo, and Lago di Molveno. The final stage then crosses through Fiavè, Passo del Ballino, and Lago di Tenno before descending toward Riva del Garda. This gives the Marvin Route a long north-to-south line through Bavaria, Tyrol, South Tyrol, and Trentino, combining lakes, valley routes, forested passages, pass crossings, and several larger transitions between regions. Very good fitness, careful planning, enough food, and sufficient water are useful for the long daily stages. The start, finish, and several stage towns can be reached by train and bus.
