Popular hiking trail in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria. From the Tourist Information you walk downhill in the direction of Walching (Iglhaut bakery) past the Pfeiffer sports shop. After the disco tavern, turn left and pass the Hussite Island, a small facility with hiking information and benches. Then you walk left over the Schicherbach to Lamberg (up to here cleared in winter). You cross the village, turn left after leaving the village at the marking Nk6 onto a field path and walk to the forest. From there, follow the Nk6 markings, slightly uphill in the forest. After exiting the forest, there is a wonderful view. Follow the path straight ahead until you come to a few houses after about 400 m. Here you turn left through a farmstead, then left again following a path downhill to the edge of the forest. There you turn right at a hunting stand and after about 50 m turn left into the forest. You then walk downhill in the forest following the markings until you reach a tar road. Here you walk to the left along the road for about 3 km and cross the district of Schicherhof. After the village, turn left into the Schicherweg to Lamberg. From there it goes back to the Tourist Information along the same route, following the Nk6 marking. Highlights of the hike: - Neukirchen at the Holy Blood - idyllic forest paths - Views of the surrounding mountains
