Hello, I walked the loop yesterday. I left the car park at 07:15 and was back at 16:30. Until the Blaueishütte the way is very well maintained and can be walked well and comfortably. From there up the Schärtspitze, it's off to Alpine Route. Loose raked ground and possible rockfalls make a helmet useful here. Rise with many unsecured places and not as a via ferrata to enrich. Ropes are adequate. At the summit there is a small wooden cross and it is sometimes dangerous to stand. The panorama in front of there is impressive. The descent I have found even more demanding. Up to the Hochalm (HALM) it went even more vertical with very difficult ground. All in All a very strenuous but nice route that challenges your fitness and is definitely not suitable for dizzy hikers.

Accessible car route placed in front of the beginning there is a parking lot; With public transport you can access arriving at Kochel am See by train and from there walk about 2/3 km to the beginning of the trail. I start already very steep and with little truce. Halfway you reach a cabin which serves beer and you can eat (there are sources for free water); then the second part continues which is also steep. After about 30 min from the cabin you reach the Rabenkopf, beautiful views and well marked. The descent can be done by an alternative road that reaches Kochel am See in a matter of two hours. Recommendable!
