Length: 8.5 mi • Est. 5 h 39 m
This walk on the Hirschberg is the classic among the Munich Hausbergen. In almost every season the Hirschberg is accessible and in winter it offers the special experience of a great toboggan run. Thanks to the Hirschberghaus, which is open almost all year round, you can always recover from your hike here. The view from the Hirschberg is particularly worthwhile, because you have a great view of the Karwendel, over to the Zugspitze, the Ross and Buchstein and the Tegernsee hut.Show more

This tour is known for many Munich as Erstlingsstrecke. The path to the Hirschberg is short, easy and most beautiful when the lift is not yet in operation. If you stick to the alpine rules of the game, the tour is possible even in rather unfavorable conditions. Most beautiful with fresh snow. Ideal also to combine a family ski day with a small tour.Show more

Length: 6.9 mi • Est. 4 h 35 m
This route starts in the Brauneck ski area. 15m below the top of Brauneck is the hut of the same name, which invites you to take a break with a beautiful view. On the sunny balcony of the Isarwinkel - as the Brauneck is also called - the sun can be superbly enjoyed, while you have a fantastic 360 degree panoramic view of the surrounding Karwendel and Wetterstein. Especially on hot days, this hike can be quite exhausting, because you are exposed to the sun as much as possible.Show more

Length: 9.2 mi • Est. 4 h 22 m
This route is a simple round in the area of green. Perfect for hiking in summer and a wonderful cross-country skiing trail in winter. On this route there are 3 lakes and 3 mountains to admire, because you are directly between the Karwendel, Estergebirge and Wetterstein. The hike takes place on mostly well-developed forest roads and is sometimes even accessible without problems for prams. You pass some beautiful forest and meadow sections and cross small moor areas, before you come to the beautiful Barmsee, on the banks of which you can enjoy the view of the Karwendel. In the summer many people meet for swimming and picnicking. This area is perfect for a short break.Show more

Length: 13.1 mi
The Bodenmais / Bretterschachten cross-country skiing center offers the finest cross-country trails, with guaranteed snow at an altitude of approx. 1100 to 1400m. The parking fee of currently € 6 is well invested, because moving or waxing skis in heated function rooms is not offered everywhere. The tour presented here is primarily intended for skating technique. With a height of approx. 480 meters, a "normal skater" needs about 2 hours.Show more
