From the village of Zingst, the path leads across the dike north of the Osterwald into the national park. The Baltic Sea flashes through the coastal dune forest from time to time. A short detour at the Wieker Weg beach crossing is possible. The small national park exhibition in the Sundian Meadow is a must. It provides information about the habitats of the national park and gives insights into the life of the crane. Then you drive east on the dike to Pramort with a constant view of pure wilderness with reed beds, swamps and remains of forest. Herons, geese and ducks, but also wild boars, can be observed along the way. From Pramort you have a good view of the core zone of the national park, of the Wer-der-Insel and the island of Hiddensee. Back to Zingst it goes on the lagoon on the dike path. From the viewing platforms you can look out over the island of Kirr and see the city of Barth. White-tailed eagles usually circle over the lagoon and can be seen hunting.
