The small parking lot on the main street in Wieck a. Darß is the starting point for this hike. You can reach the Darßwald via Wiecker Postweg. The first branch to the right, after the national park border, is taken to get to the H-frame. On this it goes west to the big star. The footpath on the Old Mecklenburg Way begins here. It leads past the Große Buchhorster Maase. If you are quiet and vigilant, with a little luck you can watch red deer or wild boar here. To the starting point it goes south over the g-frame to the Peters Kreuz and then back to the east the already known way over the H-frame. Note: The Alter Mecklenburger Weg footpath and the area around the Große Buchhorster Maase are closed during the rutting season of the red deer in September / October.
