This is the route of the Dar Marathon. Please note the StVo. It is possible that some parts of this route were specially closed for the marathon and are now integrated again into normal road traffic. The marathon route leads through the Darß jungle, but also through Born a Darß, Ahrenshoop and Prerow.

It is a one-way cycle path that begins in Ribnitz-Damgarten and ends in Zingst, in the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park. It offers views of the Baltic Sea and inland waters such as the Ribnitzer Sea and the Saaler Boden. It also runs through several places such as Born and Prerow.

The starting point is the Drei Eichen car park. From there it goes through the rustic Darßwald northwards over the Alten Mecklenburg Weg to the Großer Stern.
