This beautiful walk by the sea first leads to the pier in Prerow. From there you walk along the beach for almost 2 km. There is a particularly great view of the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park from the lookout tower on the Hoher Duene, which at 13 m is the highest elevation in the area. The way back is via the Seemannskirche, which was built in the 18th century and is therefore the oldest church on the Darss.
