Idyllic hike in the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Jasmund Nature Park, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
This hike can be reached by bus and train (Hagen car park bus stop). Paid parking is available at the starting point for those arriving by car. There are also places to stop for refreshments.
It starts in east Hagen and heads east towards the beautiful Victoria viewpoint and the famous Königstuhl (entrance for viewing) on the Baltic Sea coast of Rügen. The route passes numerous inland lakes and the well-known Hertha beech tree via wonderful beech forest paths. The path leads to there via the "Forest" adventure trail, where nature can be discovered in a playful and creative way.
The hiking trail then runs along the coast to the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Jasmund Nature Park and back to Hagen. In between, the path is quite steep and rooty from time to time, which is why a certain basic level of fitness is an advantage.
Danger! Due to the risk of falling, only climb up to the marked points on the edge of the cliff and only use the designated access to the beach.
