Hagen - Königsstuhl - Lohme

Panoramic circular route from Hagen in the Jasmund National Park, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. This is a great loop trail where you can enjoy the great views of the Königstuhl and Victoria views and then grab a bite to eat in Lohme. The route offers a nice exploration of the northern part of the Jasmund National Park. This route begins in the city of Hagen at the paid parking lot and leads to the cliffs of the famous Königsstuhl - the landmark of Rügen. It first goes through impressive World Natural Heritage beech forests, past the old peat bog of the region and Lake Hertha. Follow the yellow trail markers to get to the chalk cliffs. Here the path leads over the "Forest" adventure trail, where nature can be discovered in a playful and creative way. Finally you reach the Stubbenkammer with the Königsstuhl. Admission is charged for the visit. After visiting the Victoria viewpoint, the route continues past the "Königsstuhl" restaurant, along the cliffs through the forest to Lohme. Great views of the Baltic Sea await you here too. Attention danger of falling! It is essential that you only use the signposted sections of the beach and do not step too close to the edge of the cliff. Once you have arrived in Lohme, it is worth stopping at the "Niedlich" café before heading back to Hagen past the Ranzow golf course.
