The starting point is the Drei Eichen car park. It is hiked through the Darßwald on the Old Mecklenburg Way, past alder quarries and beech forests. Further north, the old sea shore is crossed over the Great Star. Where the beach was 7,000 years ago, the land area of the Neudarß begins today with the striking alternation of Reffen (old beach walls) and Riegen (old beach lakes and moors). After about 500 meters, turn onto Müllerweg and walk west to the beach. A special natural beach begins there. The dynamics of the natural processes can be felt here. On the beach, head south slowly back to the starting point. The beach crossing "Grüner Weg" leads through the forest back to the Drei Eichen car park.
