The cycling / hiking route begins in Wehrheimer Mitte (town hall / tourist information), which can be reached from the train station via Bahnhofstrasse. The tour goes past the swimming pool, through the Bizzenbachtal, towards Kapersburg. At the ammunition depot, the path leads along the Wehrheimer Bahn to the junction for the Winterstein car park. You drive past the Winterstein inn. Then turn right uphill towards the Winterstein Tower. At a fork in the road turn left, following the sign, to the Winterstein Tower. There you finally have an inspiring view of the Wetterau at a height of 500 m, from the Vogelsberg baptismal font to the Odenwälder Melibokus. The return journey goes directly to the Wehrheimer Bahn via the signs for wild boar / roe deer. Here you cross a very beautiful part of the Limes that leads to Kapersburg. You return to Wehrheimer Mitte via the Wehrheimer Bahn and the Bizzenbachtal.
