The tour begins in Wehrheimer Mitte (town hall / tourist information), which can be reached from the train station via Bahnhofstrasse. At the train station you get to the bike path towards Obernhain. From there it goes past the glider airfield to the Oberloh sports field. The path leads over the Kreuzsteinweg to the Schlink car park. From here you can take the cycle path to Pfaffenwiesbach. Since the way to Friedrichsthal runs on the local road, hikers and Nordic walkers should go up the Forsthausstraße in the village, towards the forest, in order to get back on the track. Cyclists can use the municipal road to Friedrichthal. At the height between Pfaffenwiesbach (edge of the forest) and Friedrichsthal you can either turn right on well-paved paths towards the forest and to Wehrheim or drive through Friedrichsthal, following the described track, along the beautiful Holzbach valley (partly meadow path for more experienced cyclists). At the end of the Holzbachtal, you come to a horse farm on the forest path towards Wehrheim (Wehrheimer Bahn). This leads past the hunting lodge back to Wehrheim. The place can be reached at the level of the Mark / Saalburgsiedlung residential area on Köpperner Strasse. The tour now ends either at the train station or in the center of Wehrheim.
