The tour begins in Wehrheimer Mitte (town hall / tourist information), which can be reached from the train station via Bahnhofstrasse. The Limes route leads past the Wehrheim swimming pool (Bizzenbachtal restaurant) uphill on a paved path to the Bundeswehr depot. At gate 5, turn right onto the Limeserlebnispfad. Along the Limes you pass the locations of the Roman towers 3/4 and 2/4 (information boards). Large parts of this section of the route offer a beautiful view of the Feldberg ridge. The route leads through the Saalburg settlement past the train station back to Wehrheimer Mitte.
