The cycling / hiking route begins in Wehrheimer Mitte (town hall / tourist information), which can be reached from the train station via Bahnhofstrasse. The quartzite view route leads past the Wehrheim swimming pool (Bizzenbachtal restaurant), uphill on a paved path to the armed forces depot. After the depot, turn right into the forest and through a beautiful stretch of beech forest you reach the Quartzite view (Köpperner Steinbruch viewing platform). From here you have an impressive view of the Wetterau, the Usinger Land and the quartzite quarry. On the same route, it now goes steadily downhill back to Wehrheimer Mitte.
