The St. Martinshütte, built in 1920, towers above Garmisch-Partenkirchen on the Grasberg. This easy hike leads directly to the small huts with their beautiful terrace, from which a magnificent view of the valley and the Wetterstein Mountains awaits. Then it goes back the same way.
The route leads mostly along paved or prepared paths and is a year-round hiking experience. Hiking sticks are helpful for some steep passages.
The hut is open from Wednesday to Monday. Tuesday is a day off and the hut is closed from mid to late November.
