Despite its proximity to the well-known Stepbergalm, the ascent to the Hoher Ziegspitz is a real "insider tip". With breathtaking panoramic views of the Karwendel, Alpspitze, Zugspitze massif and the Ammergau Alps, the summit offers a cozy and rarely heavily frequented vantage point. A very beautiful, easy-to-walk way back rounds off this promising mountain tour. The starting point is the parking lot at the alpine hut.
