The hike leads along a largely flat forest path via the war memorial chapel to the Pflegersee lake and is a section of the Kramerplateau trail. The hike starts at the Maximilianshöhe parking lot. The easy, relatively flat trail starts from there and is suitable for families with small children or baby carriages. At the end, the view of the lake with a wonderful lunch is a wonderful end to the tour.
