Popular loop trail in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria.
The starting point for this hike is the Stamsried market square. From the market square, walk in the direction of Schlossstraße, then along Blumenstrasse and turn right into Waldheimstrasse. Now go straight ahead (approx. 2 km) to the second fork in the road. There you walk half right past the fountain cross to Unterdeschenried and Rannersdorf. At the bus stop, walk back to the right in the direction of Stamsried. After approx. 2 km (please note the signs), turn right into the forest to connect to hiking trail no. 71 (Muehlberg). Follow hiking trail no. 71 back to Stamsried.
