The starting point for this hike is the Stamsried market square. You walk from the market square in the direction of Schlossstrasse. After the town hall, follow the signs for the hiking trail on the right-hand side. This is how you get to the "Kirchbachaue" recreation area. There you will find the Celtic tree circle, a Kneipp facility, the barefoot path and a children's playground. After passing the recycling center, turn left after approx. 200 m, uphill to the forest and the information board. Here you follow the Signposting of the hiking trail around the Muehlberg and back to Stamsried.
