Popular hiking trail in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria.
Via the Hochweg you hike up to the edge of the forest, turn left there and climb up a mountain slope that is dotted with numerous interesting rocks. Steep individual blocks, narrow passages, caves and loopholes stretch all the way to the highest point of the Geissriegel (746 m). From there the path crosses over to the Keilhoehle and then leads back to Lixenried.
