Popular hike in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria. From the village square in Arnschwang, you first hike over Kirchgasse into Zenchinger Straße, past the herb garden of the OGV. Before the Chambbruecke in Zenchinger Straße, the path branches off to the right into Kreuthweg in the direction of the sewage treatment plant. At the sewage treatment plant, turn left and take a boardwalk to the "Alte Mühle" (center for people and nature) in Nößwartling. Here, turn right in the direction of Zenching, until you turn left at the exit of Nößwartling and cross the Birkenberg Tretting reached. At the end of Tretting, turn left over a dirt road to Kalkofen. In the forest at Trettinger Birkenberg keep first right and after 150 meters immediately left again. From here follow the Goldsteig hiking trail for a few meters until you turn right. When you reach the crossroads, turn left towards Enklarn. Following the tarred road you come to the quarry lake, where you can visit the restaurant, a clock museum and the game reserve. You walk along trails and forest paths to the Trettinger chapel. Hiking along the way of the cross and the forest nature trail, after leaving the forest, you will see the village of Arnschwang - your destination.
