Popular circular hike in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria.
Via the so-called "Himmelsleiter" hike up to Voithenberg, uphill further on the forest road, crossing the ski lift runs (viewpoints) to the state border. There it goes along the Grenzsteig up to the "Drei Wappen" (902 m, Unterstellhütte) On the rock there are carved from the left the coats of arms of the Electorate of Bavaria, the Kingdom of Bohemia and the Duchy of Palatinate with the year 1766. We continue over the Kreuzfelsen (938 m, highest elevation in the Gibacht mountain range, summit cross) to the Gibacht mountain inn (refreshment stops, glass gallery ), the Reiseck (902 m, glass summit cross) and the Dachsriegel. Then you hike back to the Voithenberger Straße parking lot. From the tourist border crossing at the "Drei Wappen" there is a connection to the hiking trail on the Czech side up to the mountain Čerchov (1042 m, observation tower, Refreshment possibility).
