Promising circular hike to the Hochplatte and the Kampenwand. This strenuous mountain hike leads to several peaks with great views. After a first short ascent, you pass the Oberauerbrunstalm, which is open on weekends and on nice days. The hike is characterized by beautiful panoramic views and highlights such as waterfalls and caves along the way.

Starting point: parking lot at the festival hall (620 m) First climb towards Kampenwand in the forest until you come to a ski slope. On this further direction Hirschenstein, past this and to the Kampenwandbahn (1460 m). Past the Sonnenalm and Kampenwandhütte (1500 m) to the Steinlingalm (1448 m). Continue past the eastern summit of the Kampenwand towards the Hochalpenkopf to start the return journey from there.

In this section, the bike has to be carried most of the time (approx. 1.5 hours) and you have to overcome a few meters of altitude on gravel and washed-out paths. So nothing for beginners, only something for experienced mountain bikers.
