Take the Kampenwandbahn up to the top of the mountain. Then the route descends, following the panoramic path to Steinlingalm and then the steep descent into the valley. Wonderful hike with beautiful views!

Popular hiking trail in the Geigelstein nature reserve, Bavaria. The way there leads through the picturesque valley of the Prien, on the way back you hike almost continuously through beautiful forest. It is a short, but fairly steep climb up to the Schachenberg. The stage from the Priener Hut via Sachrang to the Spitzsteinhaus lodge is leisurely and not overly long. This gives the opportunity to have a look around in the Peter-Müller-Museum in Sachrang. From Sachrang, go upwards across the Obermoosalm and the Mesneralm pastures, sometimes over meadows and sometimes through woodland to the Spitzsteinhaus lodge, which already lies in Austrian territory.
