After a first short ascent, you pass the Oberauerbrunstalm, which is open on weekends and on nice days. The hike is characterized by beautiful panoramic views and highlights such as waterfalls and caves along the way.

Starting point: parking lot at the festival hall (620 m) First climb towards Kampenwand in the forest until you come to a ski slope. On this further direction Hirschenstein, past this and to the Kampenwandbahn (1460 m). Past the Sonnenalm and Kampenwandhütte (1500 m) to the Steinlingalm (1448 m). Continue past the eastern summit of the Kampenwand towards the Hochalpenkopf to start the return journey from there.

Multi-day hike from Innerwald im Chiemgau. This hike is better reached by car than public transport. However, the wonderful views from the Schreck-Alm are worth all the effort.
