This beautiful hike begins at the Hintergschwendt hiking car park and initially leads alternately over gravel, farm roads and beautiful, quiet forest paths toward the Steinlingalm. The trail then leads steeply toward the Kampenwand, where the via ferrata begins. This passage is secured with a steel cable and consists of a short crossing (A), which leads to a step (A/B) and a short crossing to the summit ridge (A). Many hikers tackle this passage without special via ferrata equipment, but it is still recommended for beginners and children. Surefootedness and a head for heights are required here!
