A challenging hike with spectacular views that will take your breath away
Tindstinden (490 m) is perhaps one of the lesser-known mountain hikes in Lofoten. But it's absolutely amazing because it offers amazing views. The entire hike is quite steep, so you should be in good physical condition before embarking on this adventure. From the summit there is a spectacular view of the majestic mountain ranges, the fjords, Lake Ågvatnet, the village of Å and the Arctic Ocean in the background....

Ågvatnet - An adventurous hiking trail with wild and beautiful nature.
Lake Ågvatnet is beautifully located near the cozy village of Å on the island of Moskenes. The hike is only about 7 km long, more or less flat and there might be only a trail around the lake, but you should not underestimate the effort this hike brings. You have to constantly watch where you're going. The trail goes over slippery roots, loose rocks and is very muddy. In some places it is very narrow and overgrown.

Trail reviews for Lofotodden National Park
I completed the Innersand – Ryten trail today and found it to be moderately strenuous physically, and quite demanding mentally in certain parts. The scenery is breathtaking from start to finish, with especially majestic views near the summit. Some sections of the trail were muddy, so sturdy footwear is highly recommended. The final ascent includes a few steeper and more technical segments that require focus and care, but they add to the overall experience. This trail offers a great combination of challenge and natural beauty. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Lofotodden National Park — and I’d gladly do it again
