Popular circular route in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria.
After the Regenbrücke bridge, the route goes a little way upstream. In Pulling the route reaches the car park at Blaibacher See where the new cycle bridge over the Blaibacher See barrage (power station) will be crossed. From there, it goes along the shore for quite a while until the route reach the Höllensteinsee.
There is a beautiful view from a great viewing rock where there is also an inn.
The route continues downstream over the dam. A beautiful and varied landscape leads through meadows and forest to the Lehen farm with an interesting chapel. The route continues along the Teerstarsse to Wimbach and Untergschaidt, to the Haselstauden and Hetzenberg hamlets. After the Hetzenberg chapel, the route descends through the forest. Once out of the forest, the route heads back towards the starting point.
