Popular circular hike in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria.
This hiking trail offers a marvellous view as far as the Bohemian region. Continuing along Pechlergasse, you reach the Hochfeld farm. Behind the farm, the 700 metre long and somewhat steep ascent starts through the wooded slope of Blaibach's local mountain "Predigtstuhl" to the summit cross. Past the "Weißer Felsen" and the "Kanon" to the Jägerkreuz, you have a marvellous view of the Regental valley towards Miltach. The route continues for around 2.5 kilometres through the forest on the ridge of the Predigtstuhl to the Roßberg (667 m). From the Roßberg it is approx. 1.5 km downhill to the "Holz am Kreuz" crossroads. Here you turn right onto the district road and leave it again after a few metres. Walking through the Pinselbach valley, you reach the Kneipp treading pool after approx. 2 km. After 1 km on the narrow tarred road, you reach the starting point in Blaibach again. There are no refreshment stops along this hiking trail!
