Popular and beautiful hike in Saxon Switzerland National Park, Saxony.
You can start at the Bastei car park, which is subject to a fee, and then make your way to the fascinating rock formations.
Relaxed on forest paths it goes to the Lohmener parking lot where the route leads right along the Basteistraße. As the name suggests, it leads to the famous Bastei and the Bastei Bridge with magnificent vantage points and optional detours. The panorama restaurant also invites you to stop before you go down to the Amselgrund. The Amselsee is no less idyllic.
Another ascent follows after the valley to the third highlight - the Schwedenlöcher. The Schwedenlöcher are a popular destination in Saxon Switzerland. Through rocky alleys, over 700 steps and some iron ladders it goes up through the ravine-like gorge.

- Bastei Bridge
- Bastei: rock formation with viewing platform
