Family-friendly hike in Saxon Switzerland, Saxony.
This rather short hike starts in Uttewalde where you can park. The route is not particularly demanding and quite short, which makes it very suitable for families with children.
It goes a bit out of town in the direction of the idyllic forest and finally the path turns sharply left onto the Schleifgrund and leads through the shady forest to the Kluftsteig. This is a quaint stair climb from the Uttenwalder Grund, which leads up to the node path. The path to the goal, the throat hole disk, continues slightly but steadily uphill. The Kehllochscheibe is a popular climbing rock.
From there it goes back on the same route.
