Promising tour through the Saxon Switzerland National Park, Saxony.
This varied bike tour starts in Rathewalde and leads along the Polenz towards Bad Schandau, where the route along the Elbe continues on the well-developed Elradweg. The border to the Czech Republic is crossed and the Elbe Cycle Path is followed to Dečín. Up to there the way was quite flat.
The return begins sharply to the right and a decent ascent over Jaluvči awaits. From the Czech Republic it is now downhill back to Germany. In Königstein the route meets the Elbe again to Wehlen and finally it goes back to the starting point of the tour.
On the way there is a lot of variety, great detours and various places to stop for refreshments.
